Retail displays: Sheet masks 411 March 19, 2018 0 comments As it turns out, it takes a lot of effort to keep us looking and smelling our best. In fact, in 2015 we spent around £56.2 billion on hair care, with skincare being a close second with a predicted revenue of £11 billion in 2018. Gone are the days where you’d only find a pot of moisturiser or a tube of cream to hydrate your skin. 2018 is the year of the beauty mask, coming in all kinds of wonderful varieties that help us keeping our skin moisturised and looking youthful. However how does a beauty retailer display their beauty masks? The can’t stand up straight, and they’re too small to add hooks and prongs onto them. Shop4Pop’s simple solution for retail displays when it comes to marketing masks in store is our tiered counter display units! Like our other counter display units but with tiers and an added lip. The lip prevents your products from slipping down, and it positions the masks so that they can be displayed to your customers whilst ensuring that they are creating an impact. We currently have two new tiered counter display units, our standard one and a wider one. But why stop at beauty masks? The beauty of our counter display units is that you can use them for whatever! They can be used to store hair masks, eyelashes and products for barber shops! My personal favourite is using an after shave soothing face mask! Our units are designed as a solution for a beauty mask retailer where they have been made to stand out from the competition through using our units. 5 Facts about Facial Masks What is a sheet mask? Sheet masks are face-shaped sheet fabrics soaked in nutrition-packed solution called serums. The sheets are made from a variety of materials including papers, fibres and gel. Sheet masks are generally used once, and it is individually packaged making them fast, convenient and east to use. They’ve been used for thousands of years! Cleopatra’s use of beauty masks is a famous example. She not only bathed in milk but applied beauty masks made from egg whites and mud from the dead sea! They’re super clean! Sheet masks have become an airplane stable because they’re fuss free and portable. Unlike traditional masks that require you washing your hands after supplication, you can just put these masks on and go! Face masks don’t replace serums either. It’s always a luxury when you get to use a beauty mask, however using them every day could get pricey! Use your serum like you normally would, and think of the mask as a special treatment for added glow. Are there any negative effects from using a sheet mask? No not really, however the function of sheet masks is to nourish the skin, not exfoliate or cleanse. Usually traditional masks are best at this.
